On Saturday, Jan 12th 2002 at 7:00 PM, Megastar Mammootty amazed the people at Maveli Twin Cinema with a surprise visit. The famous actor of Indian Cinema, Padmasree Bharat Mammootty came to Maveli Twin Cinema with his friends Mr. Vijayan Menon of Tara Arts and Mr. Stanley. He spent about an hour at the theater and explained to us the present condition of Malayalam Cinema. He was very delighted to see the theater and how well it's doing. He hopes more and more theaters will show Malayalam movies in the U.S.
